Award-winning fashion designer, Wanja Kenya turns to Mabinogi Productions to help launch her new Maternity-wear wardrobe collection.

Designed for professional working mothers, Bump & Anna’s elegant pieces will take Mother’s seamlessly from home to office to dinner without compromising their style or nursing routine.

Whether feeding or pumping, Bump & Anna’s innovative designs allow for convenient and discrete access wherever you may be. 

The shoot for the launch of this collection took place over 3 days in the Spring.  The timing was crucial to capture the 2 week window when cherry blossoms would appear at the Welsh sea side.  A mixture of nursing mothers as well as professional were hired to not only model the collection and maternity functions but also share their thoughts on trying to say fashionable whilst nursing.

With all this talent assembled, Mabinogi Productions’ team were determined to help Wanja capture all the assets needed to launch this ambitious collection. Both photos and video of professional quality to not only launch the campaign but also their entire online store.  over 3 days in South Wales, working on location as well as in the studio this amazing team delivered.

2 Documentary-style ‘Mum’s Interviews’

One of the most enjoyable parts of the shoot were the 1 on 1 interviews (okay 1 on 2 if we include the little superstars) with recent mothers Verity & Sally to explore their experiences remaining fashionable after giving birth and returning to the office.  In a candid sit down, both mother’s discussed their frustration with typical ‘frumpy’ maternity wear and their desire to get their sense of fashion and style back.

In a world overrun with athleisure wear, Bump & Anna desires to do something different, something elegant — and help the mothers in our lives — ‘get their pink back’.
